Qualification:
Any Graduate, B.E. / Diploma (full time) in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Chemical / Production Engineering OR Diploma course (full time) in Industrial Safety or BSC(Chemistry and physics) with ADIS
Experience:
- More than 3 years of experience as an Engineering Graduate
- More than 5 years experience as BSC or Diploma Holder
- Must have experience in the process industry such as safety officer or safety coordinator.
Job Profile
- To implement site safety rules and procedures as per specific project safety plan
- Adhere to job rotation routine (You will have to work in shift day/night as per shift)
- To conduct routine site safety inspections and report workplace safety issues to the HSE project head
- To ensure implementation of client safety rules on the project site
- Conduct employee safety training on a regular basis for site workers
- Promotion of safety consciousness amongst the employees
- Examination of machinery, equipment, and building from the safety angle
- Analyze work processes and workplace environments to identify potential risks to worker safety
- To design programs for work environments that prevent injuries to employees.
- Investigate workplace accidents to determine the cause and develop a plan to prevent future occurrences.
- Implementation of PPE rules
- Hazard identification & reporting
- Weekly Safety field audits and reporting with the scope of improvement.
- Safety Observation Tours on a daily basis
- Preparing safety operating procedures for various jobs and implementation of the same.
- Monitoring, measurement & record management. Preparation of safety performance indices and analysis and reporting as per client safety standard
